Bummer about you missing Jenny Morris as she is great to see but you have to get priorities right! Always happens that way - 2 or 3 things you want to see/do are on at the same time. Am presently waiting to see if I have a ticket to see Chris Isaak at Leeuwin Estate Winery in Margaret River this coming Sat night (he's also there on the Sun night). Won't know until probably Friday so fingers crossed I get looked after. The weather forecast for the weekend is fine but it gets cold at nights down there & also need insect repellent.

Ahhhh winery concerts, don't get me started.I had tickets to see Diana Ross at Tempus Two vineyard in the Hunter in November 2006 and the weather had been perfect for months before hand, that night was the first time in ages it had actually rained, still drove up hoping the weather was coastal but once we got to the venue the rain was blowing side ways and the stage area was saturated so the concert was cancelled,i called Diana Ross a drought breaker after that night,it was the first time the Hunter had any decent rain in 2 years.
Hope the weather holds off you and you get a ticket,Chris Isaak would be a great act to see especially with some Leeuwin Estate bubbly by your side
Really looking forward to the tram car and seeing Wicked also, love visiting Melbourne,it always seems so alive.

    • I'm about to either throw my laptop off the balcony or kill someone.

      Either would work.

nothing wrong with being a sook at times.....just don't make a habit of it always nice when a kind word comes your way as it does help.
Don't be afraid to step out in the rain. Take a chance. Sometimes the only way to get your rainbow is by getting wet.

Fine weather is forecast for the next week so let's hope they are correct. Should I go, will have my all weather jacket with me as it gets quite cold down that way at nights as well as rug & cushion for sitting on.
I remember that about the Diana Ross concert being called off due to the rain. I was actually in Sydney that November (seeing Chris & boyz ) when the snow fell in Blue Mountains - damn it was cold!!!! Had to go buy a couple of jumpers.
Look forward to hearing what you think of the tram car & Wicked. Melbourne is so full of culture & I enjoy that. Enjoy Sydney as it seems like home away from home for me.....just bigger than Perth.

I know of kids who have been expelled from school for using the same terms about their schools......

Just tell them they have to learn how to kick before they could bomb anything.......

                          • Common sense.........don't ya just hate it at times! It won out over my heart in going to the concert down at Leeuwin winery in Margaret River this Saturday evening. Even though taken care off with a ticket, I just couldn't justify the cost of fuel I would use - amounted to nearly 2 months of city driving worth. It's a 4 hr drive each way so virtually weekend gone and as I have orders to complete for next week would have put me under too much pressure. If only the concert had been out at a winery in the Swan Valley - so much easier to get to! Always next time.
