    • LOL! I do love this thread with the way the topic changes. Well common sense did prevail & I didn't head south. Instead pulled out a few Chris Isaak tapes, poured a glass of wine to have with my schnitzel & salad dinner and put my feet up in the comfort of my lounge room. No crowds, no mossies, no traffic. Cool!

Did a bit of retail therapy on Sat morn in the city......realised I did not have any pjs and so bought some.........afterall not the done thing to run around as I do at home when staying at someone else's home......may not be invited back.
Don't be afraid to step out in the rain. Take a chance. Sometimes the only way to get your rainbow is by getting wet.

At least you got the next best thing and you also had easy access to the toilet without the queues.

LOL! definitely no queues to the loo........have 2 at my place so can alternate. HA!
Yep, it sure does pose a problem not owning pjs when you sleep away from home. The most I sleep in when cold is my oversized Freddy t-shirt!

LOL! Here I was thinking it's only us gals who pack too much! Though back in 2005 I travelled for a month in USA with a small overnight case & large shoulder bag (you know the kind, you can fit a kitchen sink in) and got by perfectly well. Must admit towards end of trip I was so sick of same clothes that I packed them up dirty & sent home, went out & bought a few new pieces.

Went walking this morning by moonlight at 6.15 - will be happy when daylight saving ends at end of month! Though darkness does help with the collection of roses and frangipani blooms (my favourite flower) which are now on my desk!

Frangipani's are my favourite flowers, have a cutting of a really dark dark red one growing on my balcony at the moment, can't wait till it flowers. Also have a mangly old tree growing down the back of the units which needs a good prune and a bit of tlc but it still is producing a few nice flowers even if it flowers a bit later than the other trees in our area.

Well when it does flower, better watch out for a girl in her pjs climbing over your balcony to appropriate some blooms!

                          • When out walking this morning in the light rain (had umbrella) could tell there was a frangipani ahead as the air was filled with the scent. Gorgeous! Of course there are now a couple of blooms in a vase on my desk.

                            • all men.......are men!

                              An Irish Blonde

An attractive blonde from Cork, Ireland arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand Euros on a single roll of the dice.

She said, 'I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude'.

With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, 'Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!'

As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed...'YES! YES! I WON, I WON!'

She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded.

Finally, one of them asked, 'What did she roll?'

The other answered, 'I don't know - I thought you were watching.'

                              MORAL OF THE STORY -

                              Not all Irish are drunks,
                              not all blondes are dumb,
                              but all men...are men.
