After two nights staying with friends at Port Macquarie,i am now settled in at Salt Village, spent all day yesterday at the beach.Going to check the creek at Kingscliff or Cudgen creek out for some flathead over the next week.Weather here is beautiful only 28 yesterday as Sydney sweltered through 35-36.Have another week here then heading back to stay at Grassy Head on the way home, will be doing a bit of fishing there.

      • The weather is absolutely stunning[apart from the wind] at Kingscliff.Went to the Kingscliff markets this morning and bought some lovely fresh fruit, had lunch at the surf club overlooking the beach, just laying by the pool at the moment and then heading over to Salt a bit later to have a cocktail or two and pizza.I could get used to this life

          • Great to hear you are having such a relaxing time Horrie in that sunshine. Just started raining here......was supposed to be fine until late tomorrow. Thank goodness my stall at craft fair is undercover.........hopefully won't keep the numbers down from attending. Finished sewing my last bag at 3 this arvo'.......then my friend & I went for a well earned coffee & cake....shouted her as she was here most of day helping me get things together, like pricing & putting price tags on. For the next week or so am having a break from the sewing machine.
Don't be afraid to step out in the rain. Take a chance. Sometimes the only way to get your rainbow is by getting wet.

                              • So nice to be able to walk along a beach with the sand between your toes and not have crowds like you do in Sydney.

Also a dozen oysters and a bluetounge make a great entree
