I have not been to Timbertown since i used to go away with my parents on school holidays[and that is a long time ago], i still remember my younger sister running off ahead at one time we were at Timbertown and going into what was a classroom, they had a recorded tape going ,my sister saw the dummies and could not work out where the voices were coming from and she ran out screaming, she was terrified,i still remind her of that every now and then

One of his best stories was when he was asked how long he'd been driving the train and he replied "since she was new". Too bad it was a 1910 model.
Many great childhood memories.

I am keeping my eye open on the real estate situation in Port Macquarie at the moment,as i'm growing older i find the idea of splitting my time between Sydney and Port Macquarie more appealing by the minute.

I found a unit which i fell in love in when i walked in,it was top floor virtually right in town on that little creek that runs behind the town ,big rap around balcony, great view of the river and the hills.Contacted my brother in law who works for Newcastle Permanent about finance but then got a call from the real estate guy saying once that i have done a property search the report will mention severe subsidence in one of the corners of the building. My next trip up to Port i went back and a look at the building again and you could see where the building had shifted and where they had tried to patch it up.Ashame,it was a beautiful unit, there were 4 units for sale in the building not long after indicating that the owners wanted to get out before it sunk.
Will let you know when i'm heading up next for another real estate hunt around and get your mates details,i am in contact with a couple of real estate at the moment, maybe one of them is where your mate works at.

Geez what a great day today.
Left the car window down last night and was greeted by a swarm of mozzies this morning when getting into it.Followed by that driving down Burrows Rd on the way to work a rock flew up and cracked the windscreen[the windscreen had only been replaced about six weeks earlier and had been through dirt roads and road works on the Pacific Hwy on my trip up north].After getting dropped off at work the specials change over took six hours to do[i hate the lead into Christmas],then on the way home the bus driver did not have a clue where he was going and started going all around the world,he completely missed an entire suburb.I was planning to go down to Marrickville Metro on the way home to pay some bills but thought it was safer just going straight home[once the bus got there] and lock my front door and stay inside.

All packed and ready for a few days R&R up on the Gold Coast. Yes I know it's schoolies week so not great timing but I'm hoping that not too many of them will be sighted at the Sheraton Mirage where I'm staying.
Bring on the sun, fine food and fine wine, Ima ready. It's been a hectic few months.
NCSupporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
