    I was happy Muzz.

A good mate of mine, who introduced me to the NFL as an off-season distraction, is a massive Pittsburgh fan.

I was happy for him. I had to be, he goes for Souffs. Its his only hope of joy in this sporting world.

Was an awesome game to watch.

Cards were asleep for the first half, and that intercept for 100 yard TD as the half ended was insane.

And then the safety call. Wooo!

i just cannot believe the game winning touchdown !!!

there was a TOENAIL clipping in it !!!!!

the cardinals did well to get back to a position to win it, in the end, they blew it, warner would be kicking himself.

There were two brilliant receptions for TDs.

But there was fairly poor coverage in the secondary for most of the game. Too much focus on the player and not the ball.

It ended up a very good game, both sides provided a dramatic ending not always seen in the final game of most sports seasons.

Funny how both quarterbacks are so unassuming. Not the usual Chip Yohansens types of Seppo sports. Good to see really.

BTW im an Oakland fan. I know theyre shit at the moment, but when they win, they do it with such style.

            Who do you two support???

i never really had a team before, i followed the Rams when they were in LA, then the Jaguars cause the team i played for had the same colours, but i have started to follow the Chargers now.

i actually remember going to see the American Bowl at the Olympic stadium, Denver V Chargers, that was when Bennett was still playing for the chargers.

                NFC - Giants
                AFC - Bills

If they are playing each other I go for the Giants though.

Love watching colledge football too. Colledge rules are what we play by over here. Not alot of changes, but a handful of fun ones.

If anyone is interested in playing this year let me know, pre-season starts around May.

Does not matter if you are big or small, there is a position for you on the grid iron.

Nice mate, I didnt know you play.

Im gathering you guys quite often play both offence and defence, must be hard to recruit a heap of players??

Who do you play for BTW????

There is a comp up here, ive seen the ads for players, been tempted I must say.

I think I struggle with KBs disease though, Old Man Riverrrrrr.

Ive been training with a mate and another mate of ours is a personal trainer, played lower grades for Parra. Just doing footy training basically. Shit he flogs us. Its good but being older than the others I have to rely on willpower, its a killer. Its funny how as you get older you really feel the strain, what am I saying it sux.

Something tells me it isn't the special part that's a requirement when it comes to playing Jamie.

I was the oldest rookie. But there area lot of guys playing that are older than me.

We try everyone out at the start of the year to see what position they would be most suitable for.

There are a few teams that struggle massivly for players. I am lucky to be on a team where that is not an issue, and we have back ups as well for some key positions.

As always though, it is always important to recruit new players, both in the junior team and in the senior team.

I play for Sydney Uni Lions. http://www.sydneyunigridiron.com/

My key position is cornerback, if I can build up a bit more bulk this year I may have a run at playing safety.

Definately look to when the local comp starts and just go down and have a look. The seasons are different for different states so I do not know what the time frame is for other states.

Never too old, wisdom on the field is a good thing!
