Yay.looking forward to my trip up the coast now even if the weather is looking a bit dubious.Finally finished playing tourist guide so can relax now.Had a great day yesterday,organised a picnic on Shark Island yesterday and had about 50 people turn up,it was a great day and it was lucky it didn't rain till quite late in the day,i am sick of the site of bbq chicken though,plenty left over so i know what i'm having for dinner tonight again.
Now for a total chillout on the North Coast

Went to Orange on the weekend and participated in my first Half Marathon. I have been training for this since before Xmas. It was harder than I thought even though I have run the distance a few time in my training program. It was the hills that made all the difference.

Found the last 2k's hard but managed to finish in 1:53:12 and the most pleasing thing was that I did not stop to walk once. Just as a guide, the winner completed it in 1:10:00 mins. Freak.

Looking forward to the next Half Marathon....

Only a few more hours and then I'm on hols for a week.

Even though I'm not going anywhere, I'm still looking so looking forward to it.

Get a few chores done around the place, do a little cooking/baking, see a movie or 2.

It's all good.

Hopefully the week will start with a Roosters victory on Sunday. And if it don't at least I don't have to deal with my Vermin supporting work colleagues for a week - why is it that seemingly nice relatively normal people can have such dark sides to their pesonality?

My brother turned up at my mum's place today wearing the souths jersey that I got him for his 50th. That was over a year ago and I have NEVER seen him wear it. Was talking it all up today but I have not had a text from him or anything. I will let him stew in his own rabbit juices....
