Thank you so much everyone for your kind thoughts. Still teary when I talk about her. Have pix of her as my computer wallpaper at home & work.

Am on a mini holiday as our office is like a duck pond with floor covered in water.......they were still pumping water out of the next door office when I went back in at 3pm, hadn't started ours. Once that's done carpet will be ripped out and then replaced.

Computer guy came & got our server this morning as it had been on the floor so water around it.....he's going to see what he can recover but it was backed up on Fri night off site so only Monday work lost. Not sure what else is damaged until water is gone.......then we'll check things & get insurance people out.

Going in about 10 a.m. to do mail & any banking and then come home....same on Thurs & Fri.

Apparently more rain this evening.........hope it's not like yesterday. Boss' car is damaged from hail. The car of a couple in my unit complex is a write off after being pounded by hail. On news tonight they reckon $100M worth of damage across the city.

I saw the baby elephant at Taronga today. He was so damn cute. I couldn't fit him in my bag but I was also eyeing off the adorable ringtailed possum.

Haven't been to Taronga for a couple of years.always love visiting there,got to see the one and only Quokka they have behind closed doors,he wasn't on display to the public.Got to go inside the wombat enclosure also,it was funny watching them trying to mate[the males are so clumsy] but the noise they makeHand feeding the giraffes was awesome also.

my wife and daughter recently went to the elephant sanctuary at chiang mai and they got to cuddle a fairly new one! apparently that realy cute hair is bvery bristly!

Thanks NC......I had a very enjoyable day. As well as getting hair done I treated myself to some new lingerie. And NO I am not going to show it off in the Chookpen when I'm over. LOL!
