I wonder why there have been no new swear words invented over the last many years that have been taken up by most people. The C word is considered the worst but all the well known swear words have been around since my Dad was a kid....

Her voice is definitely not what it was. SHe is unable to do all the crazy runs and vocal acrobatics she used to and she has knocked off some of her higher register...can be expected when you smoke crack however her age is slightly to blame to. The female vocal folds lose their ability to vibrate at high frequencies as women age...

Even though she cant do the crazy runs as well as she could (which is what draws me to a singer) i really love her post crack tones...it actually has a really warm, earthy colour to it which i just love

Tuscany - 1995. San Gimingiano - perfect. A medieval city with the obligatory towers, the town square with the well in the centre, terra cotta rooftop gardens, Roman cobble alleys, a Ferrari driving through them.

We started in Rome, Centrale station and caught a train to Pogibonsi - then found a bus that took us there. The discovery was half the fun. The Penne was ridiculously delicious. The wine was excellent.

Met a Canadian woman who settled there after she hooked up with a local. Painted some lovely water colours of the town and surrounding countryside. Theyre hanging in my home and are a constant reminder of why we must return one day.
