      Not that anyone would care.

      WA good news.
I had an unknown lump/spot cut off the back of my shoulder about a year ago, they cut fairly deep but then had to cut more out a week later when they worked out they didn't have enough to test.Fortunately it proved to be nothing but i keep a regular check on spots and moles because my mothers side of the family have a history of skin cancer,my fathers side hasn't had any problems skin cancer wise so i hope i have his genes in that respect.

Hope it comes back clear for you Melon.

That is great news about Amy,WA,it is long slow road to recovery after these things but it looks like things are falling slowly into place. Also better news about your father also,i really hope he does rest up and takes it easy although we know how stubborn some males can be sometimes.
I also hope you are taking some timeout for yourself while all this happening,it can be mentally and physically draining.

        • wa, take notice of what horrie has said as the rent critical incidents in your life will certainly have drained you somewhat, repeated stress has a basd way of biting you when least expected, so please look after yourself too! you are a very special lady to many of us in the pen! notwithstanding your friends in melbourne and perth!

          • Thanks Horrie & SJ will heed your words....certainly know I've been under mental strain from last few months..........and am definitely physically stuffed today! A down & back trip to Narrogin to take Mum home after we found out while on bus into city that Dad was in ambulance, which had already left, on way back to Narrogin hospital. They knew Fri arvo' the transfer was taking place as they told Dad.....didn't bother to ring us! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
But the main thing is Dad is back in his home town with nurses/doctors that know our family. Easier for Mum to visit him - she just walks down the street from our place & around corner to hospital.

My brother showed us photos of Amy's ute.......crikey, how she ever got out of that alive and only broken bones.......her guardian angel was working overtime that day, one lucky girl.

Horrie, males can be stubborn???? I had no idea!! LOL!!!

Am booking myself in for a pampering at local beauty spa next Sat! Will come out smelling purty & relaxed .

huggz to all my Chookpen buddies and thanks for your support when I've needed it. x

                  • Why are pavements so hard? No you don't have to answer that. Parked at work & walk back to post office for the mail........tripped over the uneven kerb edge of pavement & yep, you guessed it.....went arse over tit.....no alcohol involved either........though a wine wouldn't be bad right now. Skinned knees & hands.....ouch ......thankfully my skirt did not go over my head! 2 men stopped to see if I was ok & help me up
Am feeling a bit stiff & sore right now.

                    • Hope your feeling OK, sometimes its not the physical injuries with those falls but the shock of it

Luckily you didn't break any bones WA,there are so many uneven foot paths around it amazing there aren't more people with broken bones.Luckily your wounds will heal quickly,i do agree with what Kingbilly said, quite often it is shock moreso than the physical injuries after a fall.
