As always though, it is always important to recruit new players, both in the junior team and in the senior team.

I play for Sydney Uni Lions. http://www.sydneyunigridiron.com/

My key position is cornerback, if I can build up a bit more bulk this year I may have a run at playing safety.

Definately look to when the local comp starts and just go down and have a look. The seasons are different for different states so I do not know what the time frame is for other states.

Never too old, wisdom on the field is a good thing!
I will have a look for when and where they play and wander down for a peek mate. Ive seen a team training at Currumbin, not too far from home.

I see theres a Bondi Storm, are they the old Bondi Raiders by any chance???

Its a very interesting game, like chess with humans. Great hits, some of those linebackers in the NFL could almost play league IMO.

      The FlogPen .

      You know it makes sense.

Storm are the junior team for the raiders.

Yeah, it is very techical. Clock management, down and distance, positional play. Can be confusing to watch if you have never seen it before.

Definately, even though there is padding, the hits are still bloody hard.

Would have loved to have done it a few years ago, should have (and almost did) played lacrosse as well.
But at 45 and not as fit as I should be it might just remain a dream, I might just stick to pensioner hockey and Queens Park touch
