Terry Regan

Some of you oldies will remember Terry Regan.

He was a real favourite of mine.

I heard a funny story about him.

In Canberra he was driving home a bit worse for wear and he saw the booze bus up ahead.

He pulled over and took the lawnmower out of the back of the ute and started mowing the lawn of a house where he pulled up.

The owner came out and asked what he was doing.

He said that he was a bit pissed and wanted to mow the lawn until the cops left.

The bloke who owned the house happened to be a cop himself.

Our boy did not get away.

Is that a great story or what?

Have heard Mathew Johns Tell that same story a few times.
Though when he tells it, he mentions the cop made Regan do the edges after he finished mowing !

I could be wrong, but I also seem to remember Matt Johns saying that Regan lived with the Johns' for a while. That would have been interesting.
