You don't even know the time frames (you said 3 yrs when it's 5) so no wonder you are confused.
Rocky, you've been caught out for a fool once before. Dont push it for a second time. Im not expecting labor to provide them - they haven't to date and wont. because they dont know the real cost.

Secondly, I cant divulge details of confidential info. i cant validate a "ballpark" with data that doesnt belong to you.

3, 5....the point is they wont finish it in 10.

Recognition of sarcasm is one of your strongest points....

Now let me say that yes, the person that wrote this may be a die hard liberal supporter. He may also hate the fact that labor might got in. Never the less, it does raise some good points.

I am not against broadband for the whole of the country. I am against spending $43 billion on one technology when there are other alternatives.

Here are some of it's key points:

What the libtards fail to understand here is that we are creating an asset, an asset where the government can make future returns on until the libtards sell it off like they sell off most things.

Not only that but it provides 25,000 jobs over the next 8 yrs. See labor are creating jobs and stimulating the economy. Thank farg the libtards didn't get in, all they would have done is cut public service jobs hence unemployment up.
Better health care!!?? Have you Laborites ever heard of Hospitals and Doctors? The Internet isnt going to provide better health care. Holy crap this is all about Gillard's stupid idea to have patients diagnosed over teh Net? Id like to see someone have their prostate checked via Google.

If yo are going to spend 43 billion, spend it on Hospitals, and roads. The bush need both more than fast porn. As for sacking Public Servants....the first would be the Climate Change Bureau. How the **** do yo spastics justify 90 million a year on a bunch of beauracrats that do nothing!! ****ing oath sack them...They arent needed. And teh Libs have always done that...made the Public Service work efficiently, by working hard like the rest of us.

Why the obsession with bleeding broadband? Aren't properly functioning hospitals more important?

Doctors can 'diagnose' over the you beaut overnet all they like, but if there's no functioning hospital for country folk to attend within a reasonable distance, then I don't any real benefit. And if there's no local doctor, who are patients meant to see once they have this 'diagnosis'?

The broadband should be on the backburner and our underperforming health system should be a priority. Especially in rural areas.

Give electorates a practical asset everyone can use by improving the hospital system, adding maternity, cancer wards, cardiology wards etc. And provide the doctors to actively service them.

That would make far more difference to people's lives than bloody broadband.

NC, it has as much to do with the internet as a penguin has to do with quantum mechanics. The head of the NBN is the former Queensland hatchet man Mike Kaiser. A man, I use the term loosely, that has been adviser to Anna Bligh and Morris Iemma and who quit as an M.P. in Queensland after admitting to vote rigging.

It's to give jobs to union controlled companies, pure and simple.

Now that sounds much more like the Labor party I'm used to and dislike.

Seems that going to bed with the Greens and Indies doesn't change some things.

The priority of this ramshackle govt should be to build hospitals, roads, and housing for the disadvantaged, disabled and homeless, not broadband!!

I mean how are people meant to use the whizbang technology when there's no roof over their heads??

I've often mused about this but we need someone like Glenn Beck in this country. Someone who is unbiased, as he is, that calls each side to account.
