  • motor neurone disease

our very very good friend, billy gunn-glen sargood, has of last week been diagnosed with this insidious disease.
He and his wife Rachel, came into cafe foveaux last thursday.
Below is some information from Rachel:
    Hi all,

As we have had so many people trying to look at organising things for us since our news last week we have decided to set up an on line calander of events so people know what we are doing and when.

I have set up a group events calander called Glenn's calander of events. You can veiw day to day or a monthly overview. We thought this may make it easier for people if they are looking at catching up with us.If you could go on line and create a usename for the on line organiser and then email me to let me know what your user name is I will be able to add you to our group and you will be able to see when we are available for things. Glenn and I will be the only people who can administor changes to the calander but everyone else will have read only access to it.

If there is anyone else who you think may be interested in having this info but I have left off the email please feel free to pass on this info and link to website. The link is www.yourorganiser.com.au

We thankyou and appreciate the concerns and offers of help that you have all offered, we truely are surronded by a great group of people.

    Love to you all

      Terrible disease.
Knowing someone with motor neurone disease, it is important to immediately get in contact with the relevant govt organisation as they provide a substantial part of the overall cost for things like special chairs/beds etc as well as construction of better residential access and a part time nurse.

My father had this disease and I saw his suffering first hand.

Hopefully the Roosters continue to make you happy mate. You deserve it, you're a good man.

Be strong Billy. I will try and get you some winners during the spring!
