The classics you mention do not "Warble" in the fashion of bouncy and scarey.
They decimate songs with wailing and ridiculous pitch variation that frankly is nothing more than a smokescreen hidhing their inability to sing the song with the feel it deserves

well your opinions are all void..beyonce and mariah are sensationally talented...and anybody with vocal training would agree...

i am right..simple...i am a classically trained musician..and whether you have qualms with them having "no substance just image" whatever...because anybody with musical training would beg to differ

my point...it can be proven through a discussion of musical concepts, that mariah carey, beyonce and the like, have sensational voices...

whether it is peoples opinion that they dont like the sound, doesnt change the fact that theoretically, they are amazing singers

To crap on about their technical abilities is in effect irrelevant becuase of the way they sing and almost yodel notes especially at the end of phrases, only shows any music training you had went in one ear and straight out the other

once again, debating on mere formalities..debate me on the substance of my content please, not the words i use..

in this case, im referring to the theory of music, which in this instance, means the facts of music...when you study music, there are two aspects: theory and practical..theory is the facts and practical is obviously the playing.

SO...when discussing the concepts of pitch etc...you can FACTUALLY examine a singers voice (or any instrumentalists ability for that matter) through an evaluation of the concepts of music..

beyonce, mariah and the like..both have very wide ranges, the ability to sing very high and very low notes (mariah can even sing in the whistle register), the ability to sing long sustained notes, they sing on key live which few in the modern era seem to do and they have the ability to pull off very complicated melismatic passages with relative ease...
