  • Iphone help needed

Can any of our tech savvy members help with some iphone advice. Namely, how can I get some photos off it and onto my PC. I tried to do it using Bluetooth, but it does not farking work. Any tips would be appreciated.

Do you have a PC or Mac?

I use a Mac and import my photos into iPhoto. When I use it on my PC, as soon as I connect it, a window pops up and asks if I would like to view all the photos. Then I can copy them to my desktop.

Macs are good but don't tell a PC'r that.

I too import from a Nokia into iphoto-Mac.

You must have a cable with it..don't you? or else you'll have to get one. Bluetooth sometimes is difficult if you can't connect. I can do it with my Mac but tried it elsewhere, on another Mac and it wouldn't connect asking passwords after passwords.

I say get the cable into your computer and look for the program which you can upload otherwise join a Macforum like Macroumors and ask questions there as well.

      Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I have been playing around with the phone and the computer (PC) and I have cracked it. Cheers.

My computer illiterate wife got hers yesterday. to replace her Nokia E71 that was just out of contract.

Typical Apple Phone. Looks great, improvements upon improvements. And then it came. "Can yuo please help transfer my Calander appointments from teh Nokia to the iPhone?"

Sure. How hard can that be.

I had to download the Nokia PC Suite/ OVI and installed it on my PC. Then I had to sync it with Outlook Calendar. Easy. Then I plugged in the iPhone, and iTunes did its thing. i synced the calendar appointments with the iPhone.

Then I checked the calendar in iPhone.

Everything was out by a day. Every ****ing appointment. I checked the Date and Time settings and the time zones/location. Looked fine.

Googled shit for hours and then found this. You need t go into settings---> mail contacts---> calendars---->time zone support....AND ****ING CHANGE IT THERE AS WELL!!!

                **** OFF APPLE YOU CARNTS!!!!

The guy that sold her the iPhone was trying to convince her to buy an Android like mine. Now She knows why.
