Don't know you personally jman but nobody deserves this to happen to them.

All the best in your recovery and hope the Roosters can bring a smile back to your face.

Thanks for letting me know Horrie. When I get text messages late at night or early morning, I usually blame jman!

Get better soon please. The world is boring without you and your hilarious threads.

I had a stroke in 09 and I made a full recovery. His stroke sounds similar to mine so hopefully he'll recover like I did. Best of luck mate.

The spoon almost gave me a stroke too Coggie.

My stroke was caused by high blood pressure which was no doubt caused partly as a result of the team's performances that year.

I've just returned from visiting him. He is doing remarkably well.

He is getting therapy to improve his fine motor skills and speech. I told him to take his time when i saw the quality of his physio and speech pathologist - very nice! Chances are he will be out of hospital in the next few days

He won't change. Jim noticed the guy in the bed opposite him struggle to reach something. So what does he do? He unplugged the wires running from his monitor, he gets out of bed and helped this guy.

He is a very hard man not to like, an even harder man to keep down

Thanks Billy, I hope Jman and StephenJ recover as well as I did. 2010 was good recovery tonic, I'm sure 2011 will be equally good tonic.
