just saw him at Miranda pre poll, i was wearing my eastern suburbs t shirt ..as you do! he had the audacity to say to me" you still supporting that team of tryhards"? at least he then had the sense to say he was glad he wasn't opposing my daughter who's running for cronulla and is a very committed roosters fan! he has the smallest margin to win the seat in nsw, but stef wanted to take him on because of his super league news corp connections! stef has no chance in cronulla a currently liberal held seat for last 26 years! Stefanie is a very quick witted young lady, very easy on the eye and a local in the Miranda area, with a reasonable personal following she might have avoided some of the anti labor feeling currently running rampant! ill be very glad on Sunday morning when its all over! so will stef, then she can come back to the chook pen!

I am not generally a labor supporter, but I must admit I had my fingers crossed for Stef.
Any daughter of Stephen has to be a pretty decent option in my books. (I mean that is the nicest way too)The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

speaking on behalf of stef we are obviously disappointed she didn't win, but that was expected from the start < she achieved about %25 of the vote, thats 1/4 people put her firstr in an electorate thats had a sitting liberal member for 26 years! i actually quite like mark speakman the winner in cronulla, hes a leftie liberal so a lot closer to our social ideas than the far right wingers. she gave an excellent speech last night and was very gracious in defeat? again theres talk of trying to run her in federal! thats not my idea, i know she'd want a crack at a winnable seat though! stef has an interview with taronga zoo this week both studying and working there, thats her passion , so i support her all the way in that, now she can come back to rooster games!! on a personal note and to answer your question rcptn, im delighted by her efforts, its a good indicator when your daughter who loves her bed is up and handing out flyers at 0530 at cronulla station as she did friday afternoon, even better when she leaves dad in bed! yes i fe4el she exceeded my expectations especially considering the size of the anti labor swing! im a bit cranky now, just got back from anz, i hate that place and those fans even more than soutrhs if thats possableLast edited by stephenj; 03-27-2011, 06:29 PM.
