There's a big difference between letting Iraqi's hang Saddam and picking up one lone rogue operative from a house in Pakistan. I believe that OSB died somewhere other than Pakistan last week after they "debriefed" him. They might have even pushed him off the Vincennes while he was still breathing.

Far fetched? It's a common occurance, and not just America. Every single western government, left or right, would be quite willing to shed some lives of their own people if it meant a better economy or stronger corporate growth. War is good business. Has been for centuries. Nowdays it doesn't matter if you start one through necessity or desire, as long as one's happening there's money to be made. And the human cost? Make no mistake their is out there an algorithym that determines the price of a human life. And it is used more regularly than you think.
