Blue Cornflower Day - 7th May

Today is blue cornflower day to raise awareness and funds for research in to Motor Neuron Disease.

MND Facts for those unfamiliar (I had little understanding until diagnosed)

- There is no cure for MND
- There is no known cause
- every day someone in Australia is diagnosed
- every day someone dies from MND
- life expectancy once diagnosed is between 2-3 years only 10 % live longer than 5 years


If you see someone selling the a cornflower at least you might understand a little more about this disease.
