The Damned with the First Punk single(1976)- Dave Vanian(singer) was at the time an apprentice undertaker/grave digger so perhaps he got the gothic look from that job perhaps??- Captain Sensible/Paul Gray and Rat Scabies too made up the Original group.

Completely different genres but Celtic Frost was apparently an influence for Kurt Cobain.
One of the forerunners to the black metal movement which originated later in the same decade.

I don't know where you class this in the hard rock/metal genre but it has all the right elements, probably more glam rock but its a song once you have heard it you cant get it out of your head.
