Bruce called me a few months back and asked should he get a bit more soulful and funky. I said mate, cmon get back to your roots. He is very stubborn though.

Still...I guess the great man can do anything!
He is the Boss after all.
Really Jack? A man being stubborn? Who knew!
Thanks to Bruce, I actually like that song now . I remember you got all twitchy when he played with the orchestra..so look away and don't look at this one either..he's covering Aretha Franklin's Don't Play That Song and there are violins and everything...

I'll go you one better.. Glenn Frey just contacted me and said tell Jack to listen this this instead..This is from 1940 and was originally performed by Ted Daffan's Texans. This is from that album he released before he passed away and I'd gone to his show at the opera house with the Sydney Sympathy Orchestra.
It's called Worried Mind..something I hope none of us have this week..
I think this is my favourite cover version of all time. Put A Little Love in Your Heart.
Words to live by..
Think of your fellow man, lend him a helping hand
Put a little love in your heart
You see, it's getting late, oh, please don't hesitate
Put a little love in your heart
And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place for you and me
You just wait and see
Another day goes by, and still the children cry
Put a little love in your heart
If you want the world to know, we won't let hatred grow
Put a little love in your heart
And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place for you and me
You just wait and see, wait and see
Take a good look around and if you're lookin' down
Put a little love in your heart, yeah
I hope when you decide kindness will be your guide
Put a little love in your heart
And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place for you and me
You just wait and see
James Reyne covering The Police's Wrapped Around Your Finger. He's just posted this on Instagram. He's touring with Sting early next year. Should be good
