This song is a Carly Simon' s classic and it has been also covered by Wendy Matthews but i love this version by G Wayne Thomas , eerie thing one day on my IPOD all the three versions of the song played in a row even though they were on different files.

A different but absolutely brilliant cover of Bruce Springsteens Dancing In The Dark Listening to the lyrics ( which until hearing this version had never hit me ) this brought me back to life and at times how I felt in my mid twenties The young woman really turns this classic song into her own. I cannot praise this highly enough

That makes me really happy Andy and it’s good to be busy and productive and this past week has just flown by.. I forgot to let you know I won quite a bit of money on Taramansour back in October and in true Andy fashion, I spent it out and about in cafes in the east and even wagged work on a Friday like Ferris Bueller (all legit as my old department had no work left for me and my new department wasn’t ready for me to start with them) so I took a much needed ferry ride into the city to meet a girl from work who has been made redundant and bought her a little gift with some of my winnings.

I laughed so much at your Hotel California post in the other thread (I’d say this place is more like the Bates Motel ). This one appeared on James’ Reyne’s Instagram just this week. Listen carefully for the little cover version buried amongst an old Australian Crawl favourite..There’s no youtube footage but it’s straight from his page..

This is another very special song for me…it’s called I Remember You. I’ve always loved Frank Ifield from the 60’s as my parents and uncles and aunties always made reference to him. It was released 60 years ago but our good friend George has done a version which is truly exquisite..enjoy! Ok I think I'm done now...

Oh Bernie I’m sure you knew my curiosity would get the better of me and I’d actually listen to this Why o why did you torment me by mentioning this hideous abomination that Cher has come up with The ear damming squall and sound of her voice mixed with that crude sounding banjo type guitar was too much it got just past two minutes Now I must listen to the original and pray the memory of Chers version is permanently erased from my mind
