Just saw this now as have been busy with work this week..I'm laughing so much I have a stitch....Next time pay attention to what I say... about music at least..!

If it makes you feel better, I got a migraine on Saturday afternoon watching Cher and Christina Aguilera in the bombastic film called Burlesque. They do have magnificent voices but they are so LOUD and with all the flashing lights, it was a bit much. A lot of my favourite male actors are in it though like Stanley Tucci, Peter Gallagher and James Brolin made an appearance too at the end..I had to order a pizza to calm down and take my medication and take to my bed like the delicate flower I am...

I ended up watching Angus & Julia in France on SBS the next night and was much more civilised and gentle. I love seeing Australians do well overseas, particularly in Europe. I know it's old footage but classy and heartwarming to see.

Now to make up for my transgressions, look what I found for you..you can think up a way to thank me later...

Lol, i remember you mentioned a few years ago you had to turn Burlesque off because of how terrible it was , glad you finally got to watch the whole lot to see how bad it was.
Speaking of the Tucc, he has a new Italian series starting in a couple of weeks.

                  • The Pretenders joined on stage by Iggy Pop, Shirley Manson, Incubus and Kings of Leon..this is such a cracking song and I bought their Singles album on itunes at Christmas.

I was taken back in time just looking at the album cover as I'd had it on cassette years ago.

                      • This is Marilyn Martin singing Stevie Nicks' Sorcerer from The Streets of Fire soundtrack which I had on cassette as a teenager. Stevie recorded it years later with Sheryl Crow. Marilyn also did background vocals for Tom Petty and still tours with Stevie sometimes.

There are no surprises there Andy, most of the artists we grew up with and love are all in the 70s , you are right though, where does the time go.

Sometimes I forget my own age Maybe that’s due to spending a lot of time around people a lot younger than myself
