  • Andy wanted me to get to 10,000 posts but I don't have the stamina these days, so I'm stopping at 9,600 .

I know he loves a bit of Bob Marley and this cover by Annie Lennox came up on the soundtrack of a movie I rewatched the other day called Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale from 2001. I'd thought it dull and boring when it first came out but when I watched it again, I could really understand the beauty of the sense of fate between the 2 characters meeting again when they were supposed to.

This version of Annie's was used again for 2 more movies and a TV series.

This is Waiting In Vain..love the lyrics too which resonate with me very much. Happy Friday everyone and have a lovely weekend too..Roosters won so breathe and relax..xx

                    • Paul Carrack is a highly underrated vocalist. The Living Years is one of my favourite songs, especially since my own Dad passed 9 years ago.

                          • Done originally by Andy Fairweather Low and then by Leo Sayer , Lori Balmer who was an occasional back ground singer for the Bee Gees released La Booga Rooga in 1979, even though it didn't chart highly it got some good air play and is my favourite version of the song.
