that would be a waste of money...the venue has a cocktail lounge..so we only make basic cocktails

Trenty, what are the 3 drinks you mentioned?

I mainly stick to either beer, wine, southern comfort & lemonade or champagne & raspberry liqueur cocktail which the barman at local pub makes very well. Don't mind southern comfort & champagne mix either - very potent though!

Deadset Devo youre pushin shit up a hill mate. Its like trying to teach a Vego how to butcher an animal.

The best way to get used to cocktails is to actually mix and drink. I always find you get a cocktail book, or get some recipies from Google, organise what you want to make and what bottles are required, and tell everyone to bring a certain bottle and have a farking party. By the end of the night its Rocket Fuels all round.

Seriously didnt you do a course to get the Bar gig???? We had to when I was younger where they teach you the basic cocktails. From there it was trial and error, thats 1/2 the farking fun.

And dont play that Amy Wino shit at the party, or I guarantee you will up'n'under mate.

Now get to it and give us a report. Burrrrrrrp.

          You know it makes sense.

a wet pussy: get a shot glass - half nip of vodka, pour peach schnapps almost to the top fill the rest with a dash of cranberry juice and a dash of fresh lime

a jam donut: you lace the rim of the shot glass with lemon and dip it in sugar. fill eighty percent of it with shambourd (i have no idea how to spell it) and the remainder with baileys

a quick fk: part midori part baileys part kaluha

I worked as a barman for many years in my 20's.

My favourite is the old B-52 Bomber generally known simply as a B-52.

It has Kahlua, Baileys and sambuca (although some use Grand Marnier instead of sambuca).

Pour the Kahlua in first and it sits on the bottom.

Carefully poor the Bailey's in next. It's easier poured down the back of a spoon. It will sit (float) seperate on top of the Kahlua.

Then pour your sambucca in the same fashion.

It creates 3 distinct layers. It looks great and tastes even better! TAXI!!!!!!

Trent, i have to agree with stsae, if you really want to know how to makes drinks, also know what to suggest to patrons, i suggest you cut the drinking ban, make them and drink them.

It is like the chef that does not try their own food, they have no idea how their food tastes, no idea of seasoning or flavoring.
