    Malcolm Young RIP

    The riff master, one of the founders and the backbone of one of our finest musical exports and probably the most successful hard rock band ever passed away a couple of days ago.

    I am saddened by his passing and losing the fight to Dementia, coincidentally just a month after his older brother George (of The Easybeats fame) passed away.

    I just wanna say "For Those about to Rock, we salute you Malcolm Young".

    Yeah another rock legend gone and as you said not long after his brother passed on.
    Another sad day for rock. RIP Malcolm Young.

      Terrible news. Acca Dacca is close to my heart. I grew up with these guys and have seen them play more times than I can remember.

      My young fella heard the news, pulled out an old AC/DC video, grabbed his lecky guitar and played along. He's only 11 but just loves the tunes of the best rock band ever.

      RIP to the man with the riffs that provided so much enjoyment to millions. Rock fans or not. You would hard pressed to find a single person who doesn't like at least one of their tracks.

        Hope your son gets into the guitar seriously, my ex's daughter did, I taught her originally but she is way better than me know.

        Made me so proud to hear her shredding and strumming.

        I think Mr Young's musical legacy will be one of the greatest of any Aussie musician.

          agreed mate! Shame I can’t get you teach my boy. His current teacher is ok but crap at the same time. He loves playing but it’s a struggle to keep him practicing. iPads are more appealing these days!
