Our belief systems have evolved from ancient religion worshipping the sun the moon a dog, horses, pigs, Roosters lol etc to modern religion, Maxism, Facism, NRLism etc, and most of the major catastrophies have been attributable to non religion inspired purges or wars in the 20th century. But you cannot deny religions have been the reason for many wars over the ages including some in the late 20th and the 21st centuries. The root goes back to human nature but you cannot deny that many evil people in history and people in the distant past used religion as a way of control and subjugation.......
