What happened to the Songs from your Era thread?

Forgot i also saw Elaine Paige which i'm sure was at the State Theatre, she couldn't hit some of the notes she could back in 80's and 90's but was still a good overall performance.

Also saw Dame Julie Andrews at the State Theatre, it was more a informal chat with the audience because she cannot sing since an operation to have nodules removed from her throat damaged her vocal chords, still it was a great night and Julie was on my bucket list of performers i wanted to see.

Julie Andrews - now she could sing! It's a shame you didn't get to hear her perfrom.

I have no idea how. We discussed ipods when this thread started about 5 years ago, but I never went down that path. I took too long to download anything so my daughter claimed the thing.
The bread song came into my head after listening to John Denver, and Joan Baez came up as a suggestion on utube.
I hadn't heard it since I was a kid.

Oh no Demis Roussos. We unfortunately had an album or two of his in Mum and Dad's music library when growing up. They also had Nana Mouskouri ! The less said the better

Lol, i was just mucking around with my IPOD on the computer the other day, for some reason for ages it would not let me delete songs or even attempt to up load new song but the other day it suddenly let me delete songs again and i managed to upload some new music on it, it was completely different to how i used to put songs on it but it worked so i'm not complaining.

We were at Spicks and Specks too at the same time. You had said to me to look out for you as you were wearing a Roosters polo. . I'd gone to the Greek place nearby with my friend, the same one who lives not far from you and who is having that birthday in July (I'm posting the birthday card for your other half today from the same artist as the card I've bought for my friend as its not actually raining!)

I remember we didn't have each other's phone numbers back in those days as we used to chat via message on the old Wall and that was how Tones and I kept in touch too until we swapped numbers and then he gave me his email address so we used to swap all sorts of photos..Oh I remembered he invited me to go and see Hilary Duff with him but I couldn't go. Shame that as I really like Hilary even to this day and enjoy her films and TV shows too.
