I like the sound of that Horrie. I wasn’t even aware there was a concert on tonight! I’m sitting here watching the Big Bash while listening to Spotify - the album Frenzy by the Enz would you believe it. We also got ourselves a new turntable for Christmas so we’ve been enjoying pulling out some old vinyls we haven’t played in years and giving them a spin.

For some reason this song just popped in my head when trying to think of transport. I haven’t heard it in years and it’s not in my iTunes collection but does fit the theme.

I like the sound of that Horrie. I wasn’t even aware there was a concert on tonight! I’m sitting here watching the Big Bash while listening to Spotify - the album Frenzy by the Enz would you believe it. The ABC have had the concert every NYE for quite a while now. Been a great concert all the way through tonight, Dami Im doing a beautiful version Hopelessly Devoted To You in tribute to Olivia and Vika and Linda doing Georgy Girl in tribute to Judith Durham also, lots of other great spots to, i usually just record it and watch most bits later but i have sat and watched this one all the way through and can't pick a weak spot, all the artist have been great.

I still have my old turntable from the 80 s under the bed, going to set it up in the spare room again one day, got rid of most of the vinyl albums bit still have all the 7 inch singles. The first album i would play again on the turntable which is one i kept and would never get rid of, Xanadu with Olivia and ELO.

The main stream media seem to slam the ABC every year , this one held my interest from the start, Dami Im, Casey Donovan and Vika and Linda were superb, found another artist i want to follow in Morgan Evans now, Tasman Keith was good. Wasn't sure about Electric Fields after Eurovision but they did a great mash up of songs, same with Ball Park Music but their set was good too including the Real Thing, also enjoyed Courtney Act doing Xanadu, You Shook Me All Night Long and I Iouch Myself and then of course Tones and I to finish off.I'm going to watch it again.
