Downtown Dubbo. I still have close family living there. It’s such a stinking hot place in summer. Actually when I saw your message to ism about the book written by an old school friend of yours it was uncanny because I grew up in another small country town also starting with C.

Very interesting MR. I didn't realise you had relos in that part of town. It's not my favourite place ( only worked there for 7 months) and yes it gets warm and is pretty flat. I like hills and valleys. Always love the earthiness of country people though, only moved to Sin City for work opportunities. Its a small world after all.

It would be remiss of me not too mention the first time I heard this song I was in a large country town Wagga Wagga on a trip away with some horses for the Gold Cup Carnivl they have in May and it came on the radio early in the morning at the sdtables as I was getting ready to take the horses over to the track I remember thinking this song will be very popular

Yes I grew up in the central west and still have siblings in Dubbo and Bathurst. I moved to Canberra to go to uni but stayed here because of work and the fact it feels just like a big country town with more amenities, Especially down in south canberra. My parents grew up in Sydney so I do have family ties there but could never live in Sydney as it’s way too full on for me.
If I keep waffling on we may be up to Z pretty soon.
