A New World Record is my favourite album of all time and i rate it well above Out Of Blue. The one album i have a real soft spot for is Balance Of Power, even though it wasn't a huge album and ELO were really waning at the time i found it a really good album and i play it quite often.Last edited by horrie hastings; 08-17-2023, 12:31 AM. -

It’s full of classics and just the perfect length. Whereas Out Of The Blue like most doubles has a few filler tracks. I’ve only got the 3 ELO albums in my collection, apart from the ‘best of’ and just like The Killers I need to listen to more of their catalogue.Originally posted by horrie hastings View PostComment

Yes it feel likes Out Of The Blue they were trying to hard to replicate the brilliance and success of A New World Record and even though it has some great tracks it just didn't gel as an album like A New World Record which just flowed brilliantly from start to finish.Originally posted by mightyrooster View Post
Just did a rough count and have 13 ELO albums which includes a couple of box sets and a couple of bests of's but also nine of their studios albums, this is not including Zoom which Jeff did in 2001 and also the latest of Jeff Lynne's ELO over the last 10 years.
