      • This was always a favourite of mine but one night heard it unexpectedly on the dance floor and it became my all time favourite ABBA song.
Benny and Bjorn had trouble mixing the song and almost gave up on it and Benny said they should not have released it but the song has a freshness to it and a great driving beat and really was ABBA's first real foray into disco orientated music. Later releases on the song onto box sets and bonus tracks of albums has a dream like music sequence before it launches into the driving beat of the song, the dream like sequence was originally recorded in 1978 but was omitted form the songs original release and wasn't added back in till 1994.

I love how the crowd start clapping when Frida and Agnetha finish their vocals but then realise the song isn't finished when Benny launches into the piano at the end.

That is my second favourite of mine from ABBA MR, just pure pop, technically i reckon it was one of the best pop songs ever written.
The video always amused me though with all the distortions and the merging of the heads together, freeze the video at 2.48 sec mark, that bit always made me laugh

Lol..that is very psychedelic looking. I never noticed that before! The song is genius songwriting with all the key changes from minor to major chords and back again, the brilliant vocals and the piano. Love that piano.

Oh Horrie The whole song is beautiful. A little melancholy early with beautiful joyful harmony building up to the joy of the chorus and the piano outro is just fabulous.

PS Did you notice right at the end the Aussie flag ?

Its funny back in the day a lot of critics dismissed ABBA saying their songs were just light weight simple pop tunes but as the years went buy a lot of the critics ate their words saying how complex the songs like Mamma Mia, SOS and Dancing Queen were when they tried to deconstruct them as you said about the key changes from minor to major chords and many other things like that. Benny and Bjorn were geniuses and knew what would suit the girls different vocal styles.
