LOL...I just had a vision of my much older sister going to a music store with my birthday wishlist..my nieces took great delight in imitating the poor lady asking the staff for Stone Temple Pilots...and Faith No More..

She's quite religious so didn't know what to make of the temples and not having any more faith..oh dear...

Get rid of posh Spice Victoria Beckham and you might convince me I love Mel C and Emma Bunton as artists and Gerri Halliwell does ok too. Mel C was definately the best singer in the group but i was totally amazed how good Emma Bunton was with Mel C when they sung I Know Him So Well.
Victoria wasn't the greatest singer but she never claimed to be anyway...I do love though how she and David are still together after all these years..she's very well loved by many and I did send you that article about her and her mum going to support Mel B and her mum when Prince William recognised Mel B for all of her work with domestic violence awareness...that made me cry buckets..

Maybe we should change the week to all things 90s instead of just Britpop?

I'm happy with that MR if you are? Excellent suggestion. I always said I wasn't a fan of 90's music but when I actually think about it there were some classics from that time. When you see the likes of Nevermind turning 30, it makes you realise it was such an important time in music history. LOL..I have 101 hits of the 90's and I said to my old boss that I deleted all the crap ones and ended up with around 71 hits of the 90's...he said he couldn't face deleting anything he paid for..typical company director...I said well I can't face listening to Vanilla ice...delete...move to trash...

I agree, i like Mel B for all the work she does re domestic voilence awareness but Mel B and Victoria are my least favourite of the Spice Girls, think i got sick of seeing Mel B's Jenny Craig commercials on high rotation.
Saw Mel C one day at Clovelly, she is my favourite although i do have a soft spot for Emma.

Yep happy with that, I love the 90s and I’ll continue with heaps more Britpop of course. Yes it’s hard to believe Nevermind is 30 years old now.

I have that one on 3 different albums as it was on the soundtrack from Cruel Intentions which is now a musical.

I saw Placebo at the Enmore Theatre and I love this one also:

Pure Morning. I'm not posting the video as it's quite distressing in parts. This is audio only:
