The song is Je Taime which Abigail from Number 96 took to number on the charts back in the 70 s.

Jane Birkin was a singer, actress and activist, she had woman's bag designed for called the Birkin bag by Hermes

Ah ok, thanks for that. I did hear it mentioned on the TV news last night as we had the TV on in the background when eating dinner. I don't recall the Abigail song either but have probably heard it before on the radio or something way back then and subconsciously remember it.
