What happened to the Songs from your Era thread?

Same here Eddie, my ipod at work has kept me from going insane at times, I have a very diverse mix on it but it is top heavy with the 70s and 80s and I often have great discussions with some of the customers about the songs and artists and many mention that they haven't heard some of the songs that come up for years, makes me feel good when we have happy customers too.

Eddie - you could probably pick up a cheap Ipod at Cash Converters or something like that - I find ITunes very easy to use once loaded. Just ensure that your laptop/pc has a disk drive so you can download your CDs - many laptops are phasing them out inexplicably.

NC thanks for the reply.....I think what you're saying is that mp3s are cheaper but ipods are easier to get music on them ?
I dunno if I'd trust buying something like that from a hock shop.
I have a big computer that my youngest son built for me, so it still has a cd drawer in it.
