This truly is a way to find songs from your era. This website tells you what was number one in several countries on the day you were born. Mine was San Francisco on the UK charts (funnily enough it was my favourite city in the US to visit and is also Sydney's sister city), Light My Fire by The Doors in the US and Canada and Up, Up & Away on the Australian charts (later it became a jingle for TAA, that was an airline for all you young folk playing at home)

Growing up and loving the music from the 70s and 80s i had a lot of artists i loved ( ABBA and Olivia Newton John amongst many ) but Jeff Lynne and ELO were always my favourite, now many years on Jeff Lynne is still producing great music, the first track off his latest album is fantastic
Jeff Lynne’s ELO made a momentous return to Radio 2 in Concert 2019 as they performed their album titled track ‘From Out Of Nowhere’ at the BBC Radio Theatre
