Check out episode 6 of Brian Johnson's Life On The Road with Robert Plant. It's free to watch on ABC's iview:

I got my love of Zeppelin from a cousin...thank goodness I didn't inherit his Rabbitohs love though.....a girl's gotta have some boundaries and standards...

That's the ABC streaming site (iview) and it's free to register. If you don't want to do that, you can watch some highlights from Brian's official YouTube channel here:

That and a black and white telly were the only luxury items in the house.
I was at a wedding on the Thursday before Good Friday and guess what the biggest dance floor fillers were, ABBA they played Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Gimmee, Gimmee and you couldn't move on the dance floor. Plenty of other great songs on the night, i requested Get It On by T Rex after they played Shocking Blue's Venus.

The latest ABBA album is so seemless after their previous album almost 40 years earlier The Visitors back in 1982, my better half said its like they had never been away.

The film clip is perfect and the songs really sums up their relationships together over the years, was such a joy to hear them with new songs after 39 years, loved I Still Have Faith In You as soon as i heard it but broke down in tears when i heard Don't Shut Me Down straight after it , i thought they had returned to where they were before with a perfect pop song. The whole album is fantastic but i really love Keep An Eye On Dan and also if there wasnt a better song written for the state of the world at the moment Ode To Freedom is it.

I was lucky enough to see Suzi Q last time she toured here, must have been not long before Covid hit, the lady still had it, such a great concert .

One of my favourite Suzi's song and not as well known as some of her other hits.

                Thanks for the tip Horrie.

Listened to the new album this afternoon. Thought Still have Faith In You the best track clearly. More like the best of the old Abba.

First listen overall didn't grab me like I anticipated though. I guess likely because expectations so high for such a legend band.

Will give it another go though.

Hi JFC, i was the same when i first listened to the album but to be fair i listened to the tracks out of order and off you tube, i thought to myself after the first two tracks that were released before the album I Still Have Faith In You and Don't Shut Me Down were so good that the rest of the songs weren't great and i felt a bit disappointed but i then purchased the album and played it all the way through in order and i thought ok, this sounds better than the jumbled clips i listened to off you tube and by the third time i had played it was completely hooked. Considering both the girls are in the 70's now i reckon they sound great and there is a lot the ABBA sound and angst that was really prominent in their last album The Visitors, by that time ABBA had moved away from their cheery pop song style which they were known for.

I bought it for the family for Christmas on Horrie's recommendation.

Your post about your Mum and her opinion on the NRLW made me laugh..glad she's still got her sense of humour..
