  • Saw Eskimo Joe too. Must have been at one of the outdoor festivals like Homebake and they did support Alex Lloyd at a concert we went to, probably the Enmore:

correction I should say I saw Debbie Harry and not Blondie in my great gig list.....think it was the Enmore..or maybe the Metro?

It was good and virtually like the reporter reported it, Debbie Harry did forget the words to Rapture but nobody cared, it was just good to see her perform and she was still pretty good for 71 . Boy George was a real surprise, i had seen him before but it was just so good how he wondered out on stage to join Cyndi.

Does anyone really know the words to Rapture? My favourite part of the film clip is when Debbie starts just skipping and dancing with the man in the suit and the rest of the band follow..just love it..exactly 4 minutes into the clip..

                    • I love Iggy..and not just because he and David Bowie used to watch A Country Practice together in Switzerland....David invited Shane Porteous backstage to a concert..

Sad song from Iggy. Another one that reminds me of staying up late to watch Rage:

I'm sure Jenny Morris may have been performing at that New Year's Eve concert I went to..I need to add Kate Ceberano of course to my list..only if she brings her brother Phil along. I find his guitar playing very calming and soothing..lovely man..

That Instagram video I sent you of Kate with her daughter is amazing..I cannot spot the difference between the two of them. I really have not seen a mother and daughter resemble each other so much.
One my nieces is married to one of JPY's relatives..she's met him at weddings...the families didn't join until years after my niece married her husband so we didn't have the pleasure of his company or talents at her wedding as she got married in 1997. I forgot about all the leagues club shows Mum & my aunty took me to. Mostly at Parra or Canterbury-Hurlstone Park like you. Marcia must be in there somewhere..Oh JPY came to Warwick..I have photos..and also we drove down to Toowoomba on a Sunday night to see Katrina and the Waves..she can rock a guitar just like Joan Jett or Suzi Q..not just little miss Walking On Sunshine..I have excellent photos of those gigs too..will show you one day..they are in an album on top of the wardrobe..
