Music is such a lovely way to bond with someone, even if it's friends & family, not even a brewing romance. That said, the way to my heart is a beautiful precious song and maybe some fancy cheese..no diamonds necessary..Unless it's Neil Diamond..

Every year or so I send updated playlists to my sister and uncle and auntie who are now all in their 70's..but no Radiators!

You only have to look at the prolific outpouring of new music which has been coming out of lockdown over the last 3 years from artists new and well established. Because I read those music magazines so voraciously online every weekend, just about every artist we know and love has been busily writing, producing and recording during Covid. Blessings coming out of something so awful for the world to have to deal with.

I know Horrie has this one. I'm going to put it on now whilst I work as I have not heard it before and I have no meetings today:

Great album all round. I downloaded Cold Heart and Its A Sin onto my IPOD but i play the whole album a lot at home.

This is the first time I've heard this song but it won't be the last. We love one another broken bits and all..who wants a Stepford friendship or relationship anyway? Mum always said if couples, friends or families didn't have the odd dispute or argument from time then that is a sign something is wrong.. Our friends are the family we choose for ourselves. That was the saying I first heard as a teenager.

This relates to my better half also, we both had terrible fathers and have been scarred from what happened in our past. My father has managed to alienate all his children, my older sister who you have met when she lived just down from the road from your shop and used to come in and visit has cut my father off completely but enough of that, i could go on for years about it but i wont.

The lyrics in this song are beautiful and i can totally relate to them.

Honestly i can relate to the guy in the clip at 2.45 into the clip. i'm sure i was exactly like him when i heard the first notes and vocals of this new music from this super group for the first time in 39 years.

LOL......30 plus years later and I find out.
I remember the wacky races, but never saw that spin off. Your a genius HH.

btw, I was hoping that song wasn't a regular on your play list.

Also saw Dame Julie Andrews at the State Theatre, it was more a informal chat with the audience because she cannot sing since an operation to have nodules removed from her throat damaged her vocal chords, still it was a great night and Julie was on my bucket list of performers i wanted to see.
Speaking of magnificent ladies who are unable to sing any more, I've been listening to Jenny Morris all morning on YouTube and this one came up which I think you gave me. It's only ever played once on my shuffle. Oh just realised I've had Belinda Carlisle's version too for years..but Jenny's is the one that gives me goosebumps and makes me cry and it was produced by Andrew Farris..lovely lyrics:

I regularly listen to Frankie Goes To Hollywood...I remember those T-shirts "Frankie Says Relax"

Boy George got annoyed at all the publicity they were getting so he started wearing T-shirts saying "I Don't Give a **** what Frankie Says"..

I love Jenny's version of In To Deep, it was from the Salvation Jane album which disappeared with out a trace after its release, i found a copy out at Parklea Markets years ago so snapped it up straight away, think i will give the whole album a whirl again on my next Saturday night at home.

Ha! Ha! My sister has always said the same as I used to watch that with her. She also said I belonged on Rockwiz and someone else on here said Mastermind with people from Seinfeld doing cameos in other shows as my special subject. When Brian Canavan was our CEO, he said "I want you on my trivia table" as I'd met him at the NRL Season Launch in 2014 when the club invited 20 of us members and we'd been in deep conversation about stats etc..see, this is what us teadrinkers achieve..minds like steel traps..its all the anti - oxidants...

My sister, brother in law and I always remember her and talk about you all often, particularly when the Swans are playing as they love them as much as you. Glad they escaped with that win last night for you both. .This song is for my sister...Hope I've edited this thread enough now.
