Another act I saw live in the 80s was Stan Ridgeway, very under-rated singer.
Dapto Leagues club.
After the gig I was initially prevented from going backstage, but I told security that I collected coasters, so he went to fetch one and left me to my own devices.Backstage I went, and ended up having a good conversation with Stan himself.
I did feel a bit guilty when I emerged to find the bouncer looking for me while holding a brand new full box of Dapto leagues coasters.
It was a good night.
