Neil wrote this song about the demise of Split Enz. At the time Tim had left Split Enz (the band he created) and Neil had beome the main man but was breaking up the band so he could move on and start his own creation / legaccy (Crowded House). He was venturing out on his own and The Enz were over.

Nobody really knows what that meant but I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think nothing bad will happen. My perspective is it is someone who has spat the dummy out and if she can’t or wont be involved then nobody should. Might not be that but the problem with that type of statement is it’s wide open to interpretation as to what it could mean Unfair on others as you or others may be concerned for her well being.
My thought is we should now just post whatever it is we like without worrying about themes. It was fun for a while but hard to keep up. I’ve been listening to Gregory Isaacs today as I’ve always loved my reggae music from a young age
