Yep I guess so. I just thought we were all having a good time with the themes. I thought it was a great idea from Eddie and didn’t think it had gone ridiculous. I would have loved to see what theme Horrie would pick too, but happy to go with a post whatever you want theme. I think Eddie started this thread anyway didn’t he?

I never intended it to be all encompassing , I mean I always assumed people would still post whatever they want, I just thought it would make me think of different songs we all might have forgotten.
Some days I would think of heaps of old stuff, and other days I had a mental blank.
I dont know why RWB criticized the music threads...........maybe she was just annoyed with this site overall, I couldn't blame her for that.
But I'm happy to say the theme idea might've run it's course.
We could always ask Horrie what theme he would've picked.

Good points Eddie. I kind of liked the theme idea as it helped me focus. I have a broad range of musical favourites from the 60's through to 2020. I find it hard to know what to post which is why I used to stay out of this thread for such a long time. I just didn't know where to begin.

I had two goes
It doesn't have to be mandatory, people can type in that they're posting to theme.
I'll be curious what you pick, and will endeavour to think of some answers.

My comment about ridiculous not the musical content. I would never think that of anyone's musical tastes. It was about the other behaviour which has now been addressed with Chris so I now feel safe to come back on here. I'm happy for Mighty Rooster to choose another theme for this coming week as I enjoy it too. I echo her sentiments as we can go through our collections via genre rather than post random songs. I found some hidden gems from all of you because of the theme weeks so thank you.

Yes he's contacted me Eddie and thank you again and yes I'm aware.

I had deleted all my carefully curated lists for all our different music threads too....

oh well..I was able to get out for a walk last night and also this evening after work so I'll see if anything comes up that's interesting on my playlist. I found my other music threads to so I've bumped those up too..
