          Really quite amazing this charted at 11 as an instrumental back in 1968, it was Fleetwood Mac's only no 1 in the UK also.

                  1968 I hadn’t been thought of yet but instrumentals never really featured in the charts when I was young and would follow them

                    Yes, that was Fleetwood Mac at their best then, have to admit i haven't listened to Fleetwood Mac with Neil Finn in the line up, as much as like Neil i just can't get my head around him being in the Mac.

                          Its funny, i never remember hearing Albatross in 1968 but i remember another instrumental Paul Mauriat's Love Is Blue on the radio from that time. I probably didn't hear Albatross to the early to mid 70's but loved it once i heard it.
