Lol's yes there was a lot of water in that movie. My favourite version of the Titanic story is the 1953 version with Barbara Stanwyck and a very young Robert Wagner.

Just love that version, old style Hollywood at its best.

Yes it’s very different to James Cameron’s version and I did enjoy it. But I really fell in love with the 1997 movie the first time I saw it at the movies. Apart from the Jack and Rose love story, it’s just so realistic and gripping. It just drew me right into that experience in imagining how awful it must have been for those poor people who died that night. I remember struggling to get to sleep that night.

Im always a howling mess with the 1953 version when Norman ( Barbara Stanwycks son ) gives his seat up in the lifeboat and goes looking for his father.

Heart wrenching scene from such a tragic event in history.

I walked into my sisters's house one day and there was Mum, my sister and one of my nieces all sniffling at it..

Such a stylish production but I can't watch it anymore as it upsets me.
