Not a great fan of Alicia Keys but she is one good looking women and I’ve always had a thing about dark skinned girls.
Alicia Keys @ Jay Z - New York Empire State Of Mind
Your vid Eddie, prompted me to recall this cleverly reworked version of Elvis' Blue Christmas with the wonderful Martina McBride. One of the best ever Chrissie songs. Prepare to take a moment ladies! Martina looks lovely too.
New York is one song of hers I do like I remember hearing the version I posted about ten years back whilst I was working. I liked it Then later that day in my mates van it came on again and then again it came on as we entered a pub at about 2 in the morning. Thinking back that was a classic night out so drunk when playing pool we were having trouble identifying the right ones to shoot. How we won that game is beyond me. I like Alicia’s hair in that clip
When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want
I always love hearing Martina McBride singing "Do You Hear What I Hear "at Christmas time.
Next best of the country female vocalists behind Trisha for mine Horrie. Got some top songs, my fave is "Safe In The Arms of Love". Will have to find a spot to plonk it here somewhere.
There has been some great music posted in here this week. Thanks everyone for contributing to my theme week. I've found quite a few I didn't know existed. Someone else's turn tomorrow afternoon to prepare us for the weekend...
A couple more duets from me before tomorrow. George with Aretha and also the lovely Mary J Blige:
I love the sentiment behind this song,.the best things in life truly are worth waiting for sometimes.
