RIP Chuck Berry. An awful human being but a seminal force in R'n'R. As John Lennon said, "If R'n'R had another name it'd be Chuck Berry". Great guitarist and writer. I love it all but faves are No Particular Place to Go, School Day, Let it Rock and Run, Run, Rudolf. NASA sent the guitar intro to Johnny B Goode into space as a human signature.
The Stones with Brian Jones were Chuck aficionados and often gave other songs the Chuck treatment - Route 66 and Down the Road Apiece. The latter made them a great R'n'R band for mine.
