End of 2001 for myself reading this shart, but has been very entertaining with some really great characters. I've started some similar threads along the way, but check in with some of your faves...enjoy.

Looking back in the at least 10 years I've been posting (I remember praising Luke Phillips for his heroics in 2000) I don't know if I've ever reached an accord with anyone or convinced someone that my argument was valid that wasn't already half in the tank with what I was saying.

Seems like this song is appropriate now.

2005 for me when I started travelling overseas, was a good way to stay up to speed with the club. Although the username has been redundant for 18 months now.

2001 for me as well SM on the Official Wall, and always under the same user name. It was the first internet forum I ever joined which is why I chose the user name Novice Chook. I had no idea what a 'forum' was until then. Quite an initiation.

I still remember when I logged on at work one day early on in the piece and it actually logged me on as SM, as we worked at the same place. I still don't understand why or how that happened.

I was on my Wanka ban when the Official Wall became user pays so couldn't access it any more, and haven't been back since even though I'm now a member again. I don't believe you should have to be a financial member to have a view on your footy team.

So thanks to first Melon and then Mario for developing sites that I could express my opinions on footy and my beloved Roosters.

Yep I think it was 99 for me. Arguing with that Brisbane Shithead Krusty. He couldnt even brag about 2000 because he got married and his wife made sure his balls were in a jar on the shelf. He completely vanished.

Been hanging around the forums since around 2000. Had my fair share of bannings from the old wall, which by mid 2000's the nazi-mods were on power trips. Have not been on the wall in ages. Also was on the old site run by Carlos. The great thing about this site, congrats to Mario & Chris, is that you can speak your mind, be passionate about easts, and 'stretch the envelope' without getting banned (ie racism and porn). What would we do without the internet!
