I think that is a good way to think about it Juiceman. You will know when you don't want to lose any more.
While I think of it- did you drink a lot of alcohol during the past few months? Drinking and losing weight go together like oil and water for me. Have you ever noticed how many calories are in a beer?
Very selfless Ralph, a legend in all. Good for you and the helped.
Thanks Tippy. Im sure you would all do the same for a loved one. Most of us have got two kidneys and only need one so its a no-brainer really.
I would like to see a donor register set up for live donors not just deceased ones. A kidney from a live donor is a far better option and has a greater success rate than that of a cadaver.
i aaplaud you fr! good job.I know about battles with weight i giot so fat 120 kilos i became diabetic so i took a drastic decision to have stomach surgery ive lost 20 kilos down to 100, no sign of diabetes now, but i seem to have plateaued a bit, i want to get to 90kgs.
Well done, stephenj.
Concerns me, when I see some of the youth of today & sooo overweight at an age when it shouldn't be.
Can only lead to bigger health problems later on in life.
Keep at it

I am in the same boat as you SJ. I too want to be at or a tad under 90kg. Im never going to be a skinny person. I just have a strong build but as long as I can get rid of some of the wobbly bits, I will be happy.
The biggest problem I face at the atm is that during the time I was excersising for the kidney operation, I damaged my hip but I was too determined to follow through on my promise to donate so I kept at it. Eventually, the hip went to bone on bone and I had to have it replaced 4 months ago. Being less mobile now after the hip replacement is a major factor in why I have put on a lot of weight again. The doctors have said I am never allowed to play hockey again either which is a massive bummer as its the only sport I have ever reached decent levels at and if your in Holland, hockey is the game! (well, maybe a bit of soccer as well... but just a bit!) Stragely enough, they said I could still snowboard which is quite weired as I tend to believe all my hip problems started from pretty bad snowboarding accidents in the past which I didnt think anything about until the hip went sour during my weight loss schedule.
Well, winter is almost here, so time to dust the board off!
