Good choice Smee. That song is on one of the very first CD's I ever bought which was a 3 disc set of 70's music

Thank goodness for old people's music. Check out the lineup at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducting Linda Ronstadt who was not well enough to attend. Terrible shame she now has Parkinson's disease and cannot sing anymore. Glenn Frey spoke on her behalf at the time:

Linda Ronstadt- what a magnificent vocal range she had. So powerful and controlled.....just think Blue Bayou
Her illness - supra nuclear palsy- know it well as it got my mother. Terrible way to go. I hope she doesn't go the full term and something else claims her earlier.

I'm very sorry to hear about your Mum RR. My mother loved Linda and also Roy Orbison so I watched Linda's documentary yesterday The Sound of My Voice, for Mother's Day . They played a snippet of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the end of it and I found that clip on YouTube. Linda's book is also at the Double Bay library so as soon as we are allowed back in, it's next in my reading list.

Here is another of my favourites of hers:

Happy Monday to you BB and welcome to my thread. I will post some more Seekers for you. My sisters are much older than me as Mum & Dad had me later in life and my earliest musical memory was them putting a little white tape recorder next to me playing this:

JFC, I found an old Eagles concert online to watch over the weekend (it was one of their many farewell tours LOL ). It was from 2004 recorded in Melbourne:
