Today has been a lovely day starting out with an early morning session at the gym. Followed by the highlight of the day brunch at a lovely little cafe with a good friend of mine who is really doing her bit for small business just like myself in these hard times for small business owners by supporting them by spending money in these establishments.

Today was special though as it was the first day of free brunch due to the go fund me page set up on Twitter. The idea being people a bit like yourself whom are either scared or worried going out to donate a small amount of money which is then spent at these establishment It gives those like yourself whom are petrified or scared of going out a sense that they are still contributing in an economic manner to struggling small business owners. You really should consider donating for next Sunday.

I am a law abiding citizen. Now hurry up with that Roosters mask. So I can sell it on eBay. You can help my friend and I feed our faces and support local business whilst you cower at home. It really is a fabulous initiative for your type whom are fearful of venturing outside to contribute to the small business economy.

Ive worked at 3 different clubs in the last 8 days and everyone has been accepting about the mandatory wearing of a mask where you can-obviously not with eating and drinking. We have had to remind people to put it on properly or in some cases they forget to put it on after eating- but everyone is fine with it. 99.9% of Aussies are willing to help wherever they can. Thats what sets us apart from the majority of the world....its no fluke they are in a mess while we have done really well.

I know in the short term its not realistic to believe that we will totally get rid of Covid- but the numbers are low and most importantly there are no deaths. If we can keep it that way until we can at least get the elderly and vulnerable vaccinated then all the better. I can see the finishing line with Covid in 2021

Face masks will be mandatory in the following indoor settings:

• shopping (retail, supermarkets and shopping centres)
• public/shared transport, indoor entertainment (including cinemas and theatres)
• places of worship
• hair and beauty premises.
• Face masks will also be mandatory for all staff in hospitality venues and casinos and for patrons using gaming services.
• Compliance will start from Monday, 4 January 2021 with $200 on the spot fines for individuals for non-compliance. Children under 12 are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.Staff at hospitality venues like cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs or clubs will also be subject to mandatory masks.

You do not have to wear a face mask after you finish eating or drinking when in a club. Unless these people are staff or in a gaming setting then you are over stepping the mark and abusing your position by doing this, Quite frankly if you are doing this to patrons in clubs you are no different to one who refuses to wear a mask in a gaming venue. In that you are not law abiding, just a law unto yourself.
